Last year, with the help of the Lord and the brothers who donated, we managed to bring electricity to Brother Ion in the village of Giurgița, after more than 15 years of living in darkness. Less than a year after that achievement, Brother Ion passed away (went to the Lord). A few days before his death, he told his wife that the Lord Jesus had told him in a dream that He would take him to Himself on Sunday morning. He died spiritually prepared. He could enjoy the electric power for less than a year, but now he rejoices with the Lord Jesus in eternal and uninterrupted light. I served at the wake service, alongside Pastor Marcel. Some of Brother Ion’s relatives were unconverted, and we preached the Gospel to them. The news of Brother Ion’s death made me reflect on the fact that human life is very short. We chase after earthly achievements, and when we manage to have what we desire, life ends, and we face eternity. Therefore, we must value eternal life more than material things. Let’s bring people to repentance and fight for the advancement of the Gospel. 

Often, driving from Craiova to the village where we have the assembly (Coțofeni), I’ve given rides to people, talking to them about Christ. Many people, when confronted with the Gospel, say, “I haven’t harmed anyone, I’m a good person,” but the Gospel says that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Without the grace of the Lord Jesus, no one can be saved. The work at the Church in Coțofeni continues; there are still unrepentant people attending the church, listening to the word, and God is slowly working in their hearts. Additionally, the online work continues through YouTube. In January 2024, there were over 600,000 views on the Christian videos posted there, and in February, over 1 million. Thus, many unrepentant people are confronted with the Gospel. 

Pray for the progress of this work. We desire to see the advancement of the Gospel through any means, whether on the field or through media; Christ must be proclaimed. God bless you, thank you for taking the time to read this informative letter, and thank you for your prayers!

Peace of God dear brothers and sisters! It’s been a while since I’ve written about the work, and in the following I want to talk to you about the last 3 important events that happened on the mission field in the last few months:

Blessing of Daniel Elisei

The blessing of young children finds its roots in the book of Numbers, Chapter 6, verses 22-27, and is performed 40 days after the birth of a baby boy. On this occasion, several unconverted people, including my parents who live over 100 kilometers from the church, attended to witness the blessing of their grandchild. They had the opportunity to hear the message of the Gospel once more, calling for repentance. Together with the local Pastor, two more ministers from other villages preached and officiated the services.

Baptism of My Mother

Since I returned to God, I had a strong desire to see my parents saved. Currently, I live with my wife and our son about 90 kilometers away from my parents’ home. Henever we visit them or talk on the phone, I try to share the message of the Lord Jesus. My father is very resistant to faith, but my mother has been attending the Christian church for about 15 years, ever since I repented. She had long desired to be baptized, but was hindered for many years because she was legally divorced from my father, despite the fact that they were living together. Recently, however, God changed the heart of my father, and they remarried after many years of being divorced, which allowed my mother to receive baptism. While I still see areas in my mother’s life that need further transformation, I choose to remain positive and believe that the work that began in her will be completed. She will experience a new birth, and I’m thankful to the Lord for His work in her life.

Combining Evangelism with Work

God designed man to work and provide for his family’s needs. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19).; ”Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
(1 Timothy 5:8). Over the past year, with God’s help, I have been working part-time as a rideshare driver with Uber and Bolt whenever there was a financial need in my family. This allowed me to share the Gospel with a significant number of people. It was amazing to witness how God can change a person’s life during a simple taxi ride. Some passengers promised to read the Bible, while others expressed their intention to repent. Some even prayed the sinner’s prayer with me in the car.

Ordination as a Deacon

I was ordained as a deacon, a position of administration in the church, responsible for identifying vulnerable individuals, and providing support to those facing financial or spiritual difficulties. Being a deacon also involves making my car available to bring fellow believers to church who don’t have transportation. It means putting my car at the Lord’s service and being available for any administrative or spiritual task that the Lord or the Pastor assigns. It is a great responsibility, and I was initially apprehensive to accept it. However, after seeking God’s guidance and understanding His call, I accepted this role.

Marian’s Journey

Marian, a fellow believer, has been a blessing to our church. He comes from a church that does not believe in water baptism or the baptism of the Holy Spirit. However, he recognized the importance of these biblical principles and received water baptism and later the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I have known Marian for several years, and we had occasional fellowship. He has more experience in ministry than I do, and I have benefited from his spiritual guidance. A few months ago, I invited him to serve in our church, and he agreed. Marian now regularly attends our church, and his presence has been a blessing to our ministry. Despite being very ill and having mobility difficulties, every day he goes into town to meet unbelievers and tell them about Christ. His zeal for evangelism, which remains fervent despite physical challenges, has encouraged and motivated me as well.”

In summary, these events have been significant in our mission work, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and share the Gospel. The combination of work and ministry has allowed us to reach a broader audience and witness lives being transformed by God’s grace. Thank you for your prayers and support.

”Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.” (Psalm 41:1)

From some time, the Speranța Church in Craiova has concluded a strategic partnership with Bank Food, an organization that distributes food to the poor. In this way, we were able to reach more poor people, to whom we distributed food in the name of God. Every time we visited them, children and old people whom we gave food were waiting for us with joy. I told them that all this is in the name of the Lord Jesus. About a week ago, I visited a family to whom I took several bags of flour to a woman who is raising 2 children alone. I asked her if that flour was of any use to her. She told me that that flour was manna from heaven for her and that she had nothing left to eat. The Bible says “It is more blessed to give than to receive” I was able to experience the joy that comes from giving in the name of the Lord. When we drive to a poor neighborhood to distribute food, people know us: “The repenters have come”.

I am glad that through acts of giving people can see the light of Christ. With a full stomach and Christ in the heart! Many times God put an inexplicable and divine joy in my heart when I saw the joy of these people who were helped with food. Also, the Gospel advances, through the service of preaching and Biblical teaching in the Church, where by the grace of the Lord I serve weekly. I am glad that the Lord called me to the service of making Him known to unsaved people and to disciple those who need spiritual growth. Thank you to everyone who prays and donates. I wish that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus will continue to advance through us.

I thank the Lord that He gave me a faithful wife who supports me in all the evangelistic and missionary endeavors I do. She accompanies me almost everywhere on the mission, except when she’s sick from being pregnant. I thank God that my wife has a great love for God, for people and for the advancement of the Gospel.

Pray that the Lord will continue to use us and give us victory. Amen!

At the age of 15, I repented, and since then, I have been constantly praying for the Lord to give me a good wife. Many prayers have been heard since I repented, but the marriage prayer lasted the longest until God fulfilled it for me. God worked for me when the right time came for Him to do this work in my life, and give me a girl who is truly my half. My wife is the only girl I fit in perfectly with in all things:

– In terms of understanding God’s word, we have the same trust, we see things the same way before we know each other; Even in the small things and in the peculiarities of God’s Word, we see things the same way.;
– We both belong to the same ethnic group; (We are both gypsies);
– Many people have told us that we look physically similar to each other.;
– We both have the same name (Daniela and Daniel) before we met;

I had to wait so long for God to prepare Daniela for me. She was baptized about 3 years ago, and during that time, God had to model her and make her right for me before she could be brought before me.;
If we had known each other before God had time to shape us and make us fit for one another spiritually, we probably would not have accepted each other …. but God made us we meet at the right time, when He has completed His work in us.;

I am so glad that all my prayers have been answered. I’m so glad that God was thinking of me when he was working on modeling Daniela to make her right for me; God’s kindness to me urges me to repent more, to trust Him more, and to serve Him more. We now live in the house of a sister of faith, who is a widow and does not take money from us for rent. We live in the same yard with her children, their wives and their children. We live here to be close to the Church and to be able to do God’s work. We pray to God to give us a home. Now there are two of us praying (Me and my wife) and I believe that God will give us a home where to live we and the children that God will give us in the future. Houses here are quite expensive. The price of a house can reach the price of 25,000 euros, which would be impossible for us, but with God nothing is impossible. We pray in faith. Pray with us that God will make us as fruitful as possible for His work and pray that He will give us a home!

I don’t even know how time passed … as if yesterday was the beginning of the year 2021. At the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, I decided to make a count of the missionary activity from the year that ended.

– Over 100 Churches visited. In many of them I preached or recited poems; and in others I told my testimony to about how God worked in my life.;
– Over 80 villages and towns where I arrived for serving the Lord;
– Tens of thousands of miles across the land for God’s work;
– 1 Person who decided to be baptized and whom I baptized in water;

GOD WORK IN MEDIA:
– I accumulated Over 6 million views on YouTube in the last 12 months on 2021;
– People watched a total of over 500,000 hours of Christian video content;
I thank God for giving me life and strength, and I ask that by 2022 I can work at least as much (or maybe even more) for Him!

Vision for 2022:
– Preaching in the Churches;
– Evangelism;
– Projects with children;

Pray to be used as much as possible by God!

I desire to thank all of you who pray for me. Due to your involvement in the last month, I was able to go to the following areas to serve: Davidești,Turda, Orăștie, Daia Română, Roșia de Secaș, Târgu Jiu and other areas closer to Craiova.

From September 20 to October 20, I made a calculation regarding the kilometers traveled. I traveled around 6,000 kilometers within a month (the most, in which were for the work of the Lord, as well as some for personal travel), but this, with the fact that I didn’t even leave the country. Last month, I went to Italy and traveled 4,000 kilometers back and forth for service, as well as my return trip home. Over 10,000 kilometers were traveled in the last 2 months.

Many times, I arrive home overwhelmed after a full day’s work, in which the largest part of the day was spent driving a few hundred kilometers. Then, in the afternoon, I served in the church and again, I drove home. When I got home, I wasn’t able to sleep, as I then invested time in the media ministry, which over the last 30 days had an audience of approximately 1 million viewers.

In Campia Turzii (330 kilometers from home), I had a special experience – I had many messages prepared in which I preached in other churches, however in my spirit, I sensed that I needed to preach something else. I prayed to the Lord, “Lord, I don’t know what to preach, I don’t know what this church needs me to speak. I desire for you to give me inspiration to speak from You exactly for their needs.” I then felt like the Lord was leading me towards a specific passage in Scripture, and I started to preach from that passage. I felt as if the Lord was speaking to someone particularly, however I had doubts. I didn’t know for whom this message was for, and I asked myself if that message was really useful for someone.

After the program, the pastor’s wife came up to me and said, “Brother, do you know for whom the Lord used you, so that you would have this message?

I said, “I don’t know, Sister!”

She said, “The whole message, from the beginning to the end was for me! The Lord sent you here for me!”

I was so happy. Sometimes, the Lord sends me hundreds of kilometers, only to speak to a single person. For example, this weekend I was in Bucharest for a wonderful service. For a few years, I have been communicating with a brother by the name of Zechariah through the internet. This man translated many of the Christian clips that appear on my YouTube channel. He has been a born-again believer for many years, however he continued to delay his baptism. Recently, his father passed away, and he started to ask serious questions regarding the ephemerality of life. Although we have known each other for many years, we never spoke on the phone. Based on this, he called me and we started to talk about Scripture and about the importance of baptism. Therefore, I went to Bucharest with the car to get him. I spoke with a pastor of a local church, and  I told him Zechariah’s situation. Finally, we baptized him together. There were many fights in Zechariah’s mind; he was afraid that he would get sick if we did the baptism in running water or in the river. For this, we chose to have the baptism in a tub with hot water in the church. In the end, God won and despite all the challenges, he managed to get baptized! I am so happy when I see fruit for God. Although I spent 400 Euros on gasoline from September 20 to October 20, IT ALL MATTERS! The salvation of people’s souls is precious!

• I desire that every time I open my mouth for God to give me a message from Him!

Ways for involvement:

I was called upon to preach in the community of Jupanesti, close to Pitesti. I asked my friend, Adi Barbu (Christian singer) to come with me to sing and to share his testimony. We left together to go there. We drove over 150 kilometers to get there. When we arrived, the people were gathered and sitting on chairs in front of the church. They had come from many different communities to participate at the program, however the leader had told us that there were too many people to have everyone together in the building. After 2 local preachers had given short exhortations, my friend, Adi, sang and shared his testimony, and then I was invited to preach. I had other Biblical messages prepared, and in that evening I felt as if not even one of the messages that I had was not appropriate for that group. I prayed and said, “God, I don’t know what these people need for me to say, I don’t know what to say. Please if you want to use me, give me a message from You.” I then shared with them how I came to God when I was 15. I preached from the text that the previous preacher had. After my sermon, I let the local leader make an altar call and I withdrew… During his call, 2 people went to the front. The local leader wanted to give communion and finish the service, however I felt as if there were more people who wanted to come to the front, but were embarrassed. I asked for permission to speak again, and I started to make another altar call for whoever wanted to come to the front to repent. At least 9 children and a man named Doru came to the front. I prayed for each one of them individually using The Sinner’s Prayer. When I got to Doru, because he was very tall, it was very hard to lead him in the prayer and I had to stand on my tiptoes in order to whisper in his ear the words of repentance, in which he was supposed to say. Even though he was a big and tall man, his heart was touched and softened by the Word of God. After I had led all the people that gave their lives to Christ, one at a time with The Sinner’s Prayer, I called the local servants to come and pray through putting hands of those who gave their lives to the Lord Jesus. I was profoundly impressed by the number of children who came to the front to receive Christ into their hearts. One of the children, 14 years old, who had a white hood on his head, couldn’t stop crying. He felt the presence of God in that place and there were some special moments of grace. I was reminded of the time when I came to Christ 12 years ago and when I couldn’t stop crying either. I rejoiced that the Lord used me to bring others to Him. It isn’t the first time when others come to Christ through me or during my sermons…however, it is the first time when so many souls repented following my sermon. This was a big encouragement that I can continually accept, to go and preach wherever I am called. This experience strengthened me, hundreds of kilometers, church to church, to preach the Word of God. It isn’t in vain, but it brings fruit. In the last 2 months, I have traveled over 5,000 kilometers by car for the work of God. There are people who have told me that I should think more about me, about my material state, my future, to put money aside for me, instead of spending so much money on traveling as well as gas, however, my biggest happiness is to see that I am used by God and that He accompanies my preaching, as the result. Then I know that I am in His will. The Lord Jesus said, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.” (Matthew 6:19-20) Because of this, my treasure is to work for God and to gather rewards in heaven with God.

Pray for:

• More opportunities to organize evangelistic events and to preach the Gospel
• More souls to be brought to salvation through me
• That The Lord would give me His divine leading according to His plan of work, which he has in continuation with me.

In the last month of May, one of the national pastors  organized a large evangelical campaign in Piatra Neamţ. There were over 160 participants and teams were formed. During the first days, they covered 80 locations each day. The local pastors, with a few months in advance, had time to organize this evangelism activity and tell the people about it. Every team was formed of at least, one preacher and one singer. The singer usually sang songs with messages about repentance, and the preacher had a messages about invitations to repentance. Therefore, there were churches, that following this evangelistic campaign, decided to receive the Lord Jesus into their hearts.

The greatest thing is to see a sinful heart, which chooses to give up their sin and to turn back to Christ with their entire heart. Likewise, being that I was at this campaign, I had the opportunity to meet more preachers and singers that I knew only from the internet, like: Daniel Hartie, Beni Buble, Dragos Croitoru and others. I also met Brother Iulian Chelu, the pastor who many years ago, baptized my grandmother. We exchanged phone numbers, and a week later, I preached in his church in Bucharest. God gave me a big honor and favor by making me a colleague and collaborator with the pastor who many years ago, baptized my grandmother, even when I didn’t know the Lord.

Day 3 – La Recea (22 kilometers from Roman)
Day 4 – Moinesti (City)
Day 5 – Valea Seaca (close to Adjud)
Day 6 – Gasteni (Bacau County)
Day 7 – Tolici

In the majority of the churches, I preached from texts that I had previously prepared, so in the church in Valea Seaca, I had a spontaneous sermon, based on the text read by the preacher before me. After this sermon, the local pastor  said, “Brothers, God spoke exactly to us about the condition of our church.” I rejoiced so much that I was led by God, but that He gave me His inspiration. On the last day, Sunday evening, I served in Tolici. There are 2 Pentecostal churches there, however that night both churches came together (over 300 people.).

Adi told his testimony from his life, sang and I had a message about “The ways, in which God speaks to us.” It was a great grace and joy, and many brothers expressed the desire for us to come back again and to serve. After we returned home from this missionary campaign, where we served intensely for 7 days, due to driving and helping so much, we needed a few days to rest. Then, we went to Bucharest and to Titu where we served. While serving in Titu, a pastor from Fagaras was present, who after hearing my sermon, expressed the desire for me to come to the church and preach. At the moment, as I am writing this update, I am in the car, on the rear seat, going towards Fagaras, where I was invited.  I desire for the Lord to leave His anointing and power on me, wherever I serve.

Likewise, recently I have accepted the position as a mentor in the E2E program, for a participant who has Roma ethnicity. I nostalgically remember the time that I did this Bible school and the things I learned. I am amazed by the goodness of God that after 3 years, He has made me a mentor of this program. This is only due to The Lord’s goodness and grace. 

Please pray that the Lord would use me time after time when He opens my mouth! Amen!

Prayer Requests: 

• The Lord to use me in order to bring as many to salvation as possible (Acts 2:37)
• The Lord to prepare me for suitable help (A wife). I pray to the Lord for a wife that will help me in the work of childen’s ministry (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
• For Him to give me His anointing in preaching the Gospel every time I open my mouth (Ephesians 6:19)
