In this new year, I started different evangelistic projects that have now been finalized.

In collaboration with the association, Hope for Arges and missionaries from Draganesti – Olt.

The project with protection masks, as well as with brochures and calendars with Bible verses, were received by almost 100 people, from the mayor to the security guard, meaning all 12 of the souls from the mayor’s office. The veterinarian also asked me for a Bible. A store owner asked me for Christian reading material. They were very joyful that someone is interested in them and is bringing them something together with the hope of life (not just words).

The project with new clothing. In collaboration with the association, Glory for God, from Bucharest, about 50 people from the community of Lita received clothing. They asked me why we are giving them new clothes. I responded, “because God loves us.”

The project: Make disciples.

I have identified 3 people: Laurentiu, George and Alin. I make time for them, to find them, encourage them, and to bring them to faith.

With Alin, it is a bit harder. He has been studying with the Jehovah’s Witnesses for about 4 months. George has told me that he desires for us to start within a week. Laurentiu surprised me. He came one morning for a coffee and after I had finished a subject from the Bible, we prayed. He said that he knew that I would help him grow closer to God (I had called him about 10 times for us to meet.)

Pray for and support the work in Lita, Teleorman County.

I want to continue this project with masks and brochures.
I was to draw near to those who are lost.
I want to continue helping, loving and being the light for those who are in the darkness.

Peace, health and much grace!

I hope that you are healthy and that the pandemic didn’t affect you too much. I hope that these news will bring you joy in any and every situation.

I have started to go on the streets of Lita, speaking with the people about the possibility of how they could get to Heaven. A lady asked me, “Who are you? From what denomination are you coming from?” I told her that I was from the Baptist church. She spoke again (something that made me start to think) saying: “No one has ever come to our gate to talk to us about God.” Together with the assistant pastor, Florin Paraschiv from the church in Turnu Magurele, we distributed materials like seeds for gardens, liquid soaps, the Gospel and the power of God for salvation.

The surprise of surprises

Sandu, a 39 year old man from Rosiori de Nord, a city that is 40 kilometers from us, cannot use his hands or feet. Together with brothers from 3 other churches, we helped him in building him a bathroom. The surprise: He came to the Turnu Magurele church Sunday night. I was scheduled to preach that night. By serving the people, we are able to share the Gospel through a closer relationship.

Prayer Requests:

For me:

Consistency in spiritual discipline for me, personally and for my family.
Consistency and opportunities to go on the street and take the Gospel to the people.
The covering of my personal needs, as well as that of the ministry.

For Sandu: To know the Lord, in a personal way

For the people from Lita, who have heard the Gospel – for them to be blessed and convicted to be close to God

Update August 2020

I hope coronavirus has not affected you and that you are well. Thank God for the friendship and involvement that you have in God’s Kingdom being alongside of me. My goal as a missionary is to see as many people as possible, come to Christ, because of the Gospel and due to the fact that they can be saved only through Jesus Christ.

Laurentiu used to come to church, but he has been very distant with God. I went to visit him to try to helping him in His relationship with His Savior. He appreciated the fact I reached out to him, and after a 30 minute discussion, it concluded with him deciding to come to church.

I met Mihai and Andrei in the park, while we were doing evangelism with E2E. I met them with surveys and asked them if their life would be better if they involve God. They didn’t respond with anything and I started talking about my life and how I met Jesus Christ. To close things off with them, they said that that they will think about involving God in their lives. I gave them the address of our church and invited them to an English club.

I have a great joy in strengthening my brothers in the faith and using the opportunity of preaching in visiting members of the church and their families.
