Craiova in Light: Together, We Spread Hope for the Youth of Craiova

Dear friends and mission partners,

I want to begin by thanking you for your continuous support and for standing with me in this mission to reach the youth of Craiova with the message of the Gospel. Today, I want to share with you how the love of God has been revealed to people through the Lord Jesus and how I am involved in making this truth known to the youth of Craiova.

In a world full of challenges and uncertainties, I believe it is essential to bring God’s light and hope into people’s hearts. I have the privilege and calling from God to be a dedicated servant in the field of evangelism and discipleship among the youth. I have received a divine calling to fully engage in this mission, with a vision for more and more young people to know God’s love and the sacrifice of Christ.

I am actively involved in the city of Craiova, participating in street evangelism, engaging in one-on-one evangelistic conversations, and leading Bible studies with young people who want to know God better. With God’s help, I provide young people with the opportunity to discover and experience Divine love on a personal level. At the core of everything I do is the process of individual discipleship, where I deeply engage in the lives of young people, helping them grow spiritually and discover their specific calling for their lives.

However, I am aware that I cannot do this alone. Your involvement is of immense importance in this mission. There are several ways you can participate in this work:

– **Prayer:** Please pray for me and for the youth of Craiova, that God may open their hearts and reveal His love to them.

– **Encouragement:** Your words of encouragement give me strength in challenging moments and show that we are united in this work.

Peace be with you! These words addressed to the disciples by the Lord Jesus are so beautiful , “Peace be with you!” If until now the plague, the covid virus, attacked and killed people, now we live in times of war.

These are turbulent times for our neighbors in Ukraine, but we are empowered by God to show love and offer help to those in need.

So together with our partners, we went to meet those in Ukraine with food, clothing, shelter, so that we can bring them as much appreciation as we can, and show them God’s love through material and spiritual help.

You can also be a part in helping them!

Just a few days ago we went to an area outside the city where we met very poor people who live on the outskirts of Craiova.

Identifying their spiritual and material needs, we came to their aid, offering them food (potatoes, tea, baby food), but with the hope that they would know Jesus and His love.

A few days ago, together with Moni and Sebi I went to the Brazda lui Novac neighborhood to distribute Christian brochures in the mailboxes. As I said in the past, the BL N neighborhood is a neighborhood in Craiova that has about 50,000 inhabitants and it is a neighborhood in which many young people live. In this neighborhood the Holy Spirit gave me the desire to preach the Gospel intensely, because there is a very low evangelical presence.

By the end of this year, with God’s help, I want to start a home group. I also have a disciple there named Paul. I invite you to pray for the people of this neighborhood and for Paul. In fact, if you want, you can get involved in this work by:

The good seed is a joint project of the Hope Church, which directly targets people who plant seeds in their garden to feed on the fruits of these seeds. We give people packages containing various seeds, but most importantly, they receive the Good Seed, a book of daily devotionals, in which the Word of God is found. We pray that the seed of Truth will fall into a good ground in their hearts and bear fruit.

Hello everyone! After following God’s calling for my life, I moved to Craiova in August 2020 to be involved full-time in the ministry here. Now, looking back, I see how God worked here through myself and Hope Church. The list below are the activities that I did during the last 6 months.

1.  I was accepted into the missionary association, “Together in Mission.”
2. I became a part of the ministry team in Craiova
   I wrote a job description, which explains a ministry plan, having a minimum of 8 hours of work daily with the ministry coordinator, Raul Costea.
3. I shared the Gospel with over 100 people through personal conversation with them.
4. I gave out over 5,000 New Testaments.
5. I received approximately 8 teams at the Mission House.
6. I was a part of the worship team through working the sound system. I still do this.
7. I served and continue to serve the local ministry team with administrative activities at our offices and buildings.in the center of Craiova.
8. I came alongside missionary trips in Dolj and Olt Counties, when it was needed. I continue to do this, as well.
9. I was involved in personal discipleship with 3 boys. They are still my disciples and I plan on continuing to disciple them.
10. I was involved in and continue to be involved in “Digital Ministry,” where I distribute sermons, verses and videos of testimonies in Facebook groups. .
11. I make sure that on sunny days, there are Christian brochures, literature and New Testaments in front of our church building. In many days, I rejoiced to see all of the brochures and books taken by people from Craiova. Assuredly, the Word of God is being spread in Craiova.
12. I help the youth team, when there are youth events.

In the last 6 months, I have a stronger confirmation that God wants to use me in this city. My heart hurts for these people and I want to see every person in Craiova saved through the blood of Christ. I also want to become a missionary and to start a home church in the “Brazda lui Novac” neighborhood.

What you experience when you put yourself at God’s disposal and follow His call does not compare to anything in this world, nothing can fulfill you so much. Preaching the Gospel must be our goal, our purpose, our calling.

May God fill our hearts with kindness and love for the lost, may we burn with fire for Him, and may we go and preach the Gospel to all men. “Know this: he who sows little will reap little, and he who sows much will reap much.” (2 Corinthians 6: 9).
