Hope for Africa

Judith Omoro

My name is Judith Omoro, and I am from Kenya. I am a born-again Christian, and I believe that Christ is the Savior of my life. I come from a family of seven siblings. My parents are also born again, and my father serves as a pastor in a Pentecostal church in Kenya.
In my church, I serve in the praise and worship ministry, as a Sunday school assistant teacher, assistant youth leader, and I also help oversee the cleaning of the church.
I have a diploma in Social Work and a diploma in Technical Training. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies, and God willing, I plan to begin my Master’s degree next year. My desire is to build a home for children where they will be cared for, guided spiritually, and equipped practically for life. Alongside this, I hope to establish a church that will nurture their faith, teach them the Word of God, and help them grow into strong and disciplined believers.
Through this ministry, I want to help children grow spiritually, mentally, and practically. I also desire to provide hands-on training in useful skills, so they can become independent, contribute positively to society, and help others.
I was privileged to come to Craiova, Romania, through the Erasmus program, where I connected with Pastor Raul Costea and Hope Church. This has been a great blessing in my life.
Through the discipleship training, I learned about spiritual formation and one-on-one discipleship. This has helped me grow spiritually by deepening my understanding of God’s Word and strengthening my relationship with Christ. It has also helped me become more consistent in prayer, Bible study, and living out my faith.
Even though many people in Africa are Christians, my mission is to help believers grow deeper in their faith through one-on-one discipleship. I desire to teach the Word of God, walk with people in their spiritual journey, and train them to disciple others. In this way, the impact can multiply, and lives can be truly transformed, not only in belief, but also in daily living. Amen.
