At Together in Mission, we are passionate about making a difference in the world and spreading the love of Christ. Our mission is to bring hope to the people in the Southern part of Romania. Through our team of dedicated full-time missionaries, we have established a strong presence in Romania, serving communities through various ministries.

Our short-term missions in Romania provide a unique opportunity for individuals like you to join us in this important work. Whether you have a heart for evangelism, children’s ministry, health outreach, church planting, discipleship or intercession, there is a place for you to serve and have an impact.

Through our existing partnerships and relationships, we have seen lives transformed, communities reached, and the kingdom expanded. Now, we invite you to be a part of this incredible journey. By joining our short-term mission trips, you can experience first hand the joy of serving others, sharing God’s love and witnessing the power of the Gospel. We have been blessed to work with our partners and host short-term mission trips throughout the years. We hope to add to these existing relationships as we continue to expand the kingdom in Southern Romania!

SHORT-TERM MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

There is a wide variety of ministries to participate in during your short-term mission trip. You may choose to serve in an area of your gifting or participate in an area of ministry you wish to grow in. Take a look at the list below to get an idea of what kinds of ministry opportunities we have.

Children’s Ministry

You will have the opportunity to work alongside our missionaries who do children’s ministry. You will assist the missionaries in the Kids Club Program by preparing Bible lessons and crafts, and playing games with the children.

Church Ministry

Teams can participate in our church services to bless our people. They can help with worship, share their testimony, and/or prepare a skit for our Sunday morning service.

Village Ministry

There are many small villages in the Southern region of Romania. You may have the opportunity to visit one of them to do evangelism, distribute New Testaments, clean up around the village, deliver food and other ways to bless the community.

After-School Program

Neighborhood children come to our after-school program to receive a meal, homework help, and lots of love in an environment that is safe for them. Teams join this mission by partnering in these activities while also sharing the hope and love of Jesus.

Youth Ministry

We like to reach out to the neighborhood youth through fun activities that will draw them into a relationship with our people and eventually discipleship. Teams help with organizing fun youth activities, teaching English, meeting one-on-one, playing sports and many other activities.

Intercessory Prayer

Every morning, you will have the opportunity to participate in intercessory prayer. This is a great way to connect and build deep relationships with our local missionaries and staff as they lead the prayer each morning at the church. You will also learn about the needs of our ministry, the people in Southern Romania and the Balkan region.

New Testament for Every Home

As you partner with our team, you will help us share the Word of God by giving out copies of the New Testament. We want to spread the message of hope and Jesus’ love. Our goal is to make sure that every home in the Southern region of Romania has a New Testament.

Eyeglass Ministry

The goal of this project is to visit different villages and offer a few things to that local community: blood pressure and blood sugar screening, counseling/prayer, a pair of reading glasses and some Christian literature. This is an important ministry because it meets both physical and spiritual needs.

Evangelistic Events

You may have the opportunity to organize events that will bring the community together in fellowship and socializing. Here are a few examples of events you may want to do: put on a concert; host events for specific groups, such as youth, men, and women; visit the homes of needy people in the community to encourage them and bring them groceries; plan a sports event; social event; VBS, etc.

Roma ministry

You may have the opportunity to visit one of the Roma communities in our area. We usually go and bless them with a kids program which includes a few songs, a short Bible story and some fun and interactive  games.

Evangelism

You may be involved in doing street evangelism, which includes talking to people one and one and also giving out flyers or other Christian literature. We also have one-on-one evangelistic meetings at coffee shops to build relationships with those that are interested to learn more about God.
