The past months in Craiova have been full of activities.Â
Starting with the refugees, the short term teams that came to help the ministry, doing my art projects, then with the administrative work for the buildings and with the preaching and teaching that I m also part of in the church service.
Â
But among all of these, I wanted to start again going among the university students and meet them where they are.Â
Â
One of my prayers before the Lord regarding young adults is that, if there are young people, students that I can help or minister to, students that know me in Craiova, for them to contact me and to want to meet with me and talk about their life.Â
Â
Eduard, is a young adult that I met 4 years ago. He was just a college student back then. Now he is a PhD in Craiova. He contacted me saying that he wants to meet with me to talk because he is having some problems. I said sure, and went to see him together with TIm, another missionary and friend from our team.Â
Â
When we entered his rented apartment, we noticed the mess and misery in which he and his flat mate lived. For a guy like him with a PhD that works at the University and also doing IT, I was shocked by the conditions in which he lives. He has a lot of money but lives as a homeless person.Â
Â
It was clear that he was in distress. Finally he turned to me and whispered that he sees dark things and that he is troubled. I ve been telling him about Jesus many times before, still he was kind of indifferent. When I again told him about Jesus and that He is the only one that can deal with his problem, he just started to say that he is tired and needs to go to sleep.Â
Â
I have not heard from him since then. His case is one of the many cases where the spiritual darkness keeps people blinded to see Jesus and their need for Him. I have met many like him in Craiova, young people.
Â
Join me in this war through prayer to ask the Lord to show mercy to Eduard and others like him who are trapped in their miserable life even though they can become childrens of the Most High
Â
Thank you for sharing in this ministry and may our Saviour and King Jesus bless you.
Â
PS: Sorry, I don’t have any pictures. I don’t usually take pictures when I’m doing ministry, and if there are no people that take pictures of me, then I end up having nothing to show.
