Dear friends,
I want to share with you some of my thoughts and things that have happened in the last two months regarding the ministry.
To be honest, being a romanian missionary in Romania is not an easy task. Sure, there are great moments and times of green pastures, but It’s not always as you dreamed or things aren’t full of wonder and glory as one might expect when they think of missions.
I’ve been living in two, I would say, very different worlds. One as a full time father, given the circumstances that we are in which my wife had to get a local job and being a missionary with administrative, teaching and youth ministry responsibilities. It’s very challenging.
During these months, we have been blessed to have two teams from the North of Romania to work along us in the ministry. We hosted two youth events where the young adults were able to interact, have fun and discuss some biblical themes.
Also, I rejoiced to see again one of our friends, a pakistani girl that studies medicine. We met her two years ago at one of our events about intercultural things. She came back from home in March and I contacted her because of my desire to do One night in Pakistan event. We also started a conversation about Jesus and Islam. Pray for this opportunity so that I might know how to share the beauty of Jesus with her and be able to do that event for the foregn intercultural students in Craiova.
Missionaries are not super humans, we have our struggles and weaknesses as all of us do. Pray for me and my wife as she is dealing with some medical problems and for me as I want to reconnect with some college students that I used to interact with before. These are Internationals and romanians.
Thank you for your prayers.
Adrian and Dana
