1 Corinthians 3:9 says: “For we are workers with God: you are God’s planting, God’s building”. I was recently thinking about the importance of seeing the great honor we have to work with God. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, the color of your skin, whether you are bold or not, whether you are experienced or not. God can do great things with everyone who wants to be used by Him. At the beginning of the month we hosted two families -Kabelo and Claska, Hercules and Ina – from Nigeria, South Africa. They came with Guy and Cindi Madema. They were a team that I had the pleasure of working with. We were encouraged to see them close to us, with the desire to support us in the work we do for the Glory of God. We did home visits together, organized a VBS for the children in our community and spent time together discussing different aspects of the missionary work. We also prayed together for Comani and the missionary work here.
When you allow God to use you in His work, He touches not only the lives of those you invest in, but also your heart. That is extraordinary! There were situations when we wanted to encourage some families, we visited but in the end we realized that we were the ones encouraged by God. God is good and He knows our hearts better than anyone. We can hide from other people, but we can never hide from God.
We also had the joy of hosting a team of brothers and sisters, from Cleveland led by brother Valentin Tent. They were people who said yes to God’s call for ministry in Oltenia.
Cornel Stef, the president of the Partners in International Evangelism (PIEI) Organization, visited us with a team of brothers and sisters from Liberty Church and we were glad to host some of them. Thank God for their involvement in our lives but also in the work we do. I felt God’s love through them, and we were encouraged to see their desire to support us in our work. Both women and us, men felt spoiled by the attention given to us, as missionaries. Most of the time we all focus on those who do not know God and we try as much as possible to invest all the resources in this direction. So, when someone organizes something for the missionaries too, you realize that it is such a treat! We are very grateful for this time and may the Lord reward everyone’s effort!
“Because we are workers with God” and this is what we want to be until the end of our days.
Please join us in our prayers for:
- Wisdom
- The protection of our family
- A minibus for the work
- Financial resources to buy the property near the church.
