At work for Christ

“Preach the Word: be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction.”

– 2 Timothy 4:2

Thanks be to God for your involvement in His work in Romania. I pray to the Lord that you are well, especially during this time of the pandemic.

In the last while, I have been involved in the ministry in Craiova and Draganesti-Olt, alongside Raul Costea and George Serban. My calling from the Lord is for street evangelism, in families and in small groups or Bible study groups. I have also been involved in social projects. I have seen how God is working in Oltenia. I met people who listened to me tell them about Christ and some of them even came to our meetings. God is sending us people, even by them coming to us to tell them about the Lord Jesus.

One day, as I was leaving the mission house in Craiova, I prayed to God asking Him “Lord, today please bring us youth.” God listened to my prayer. I was very thankful and joyful for this beautiful event. I praise God for this. That day, I met two schoolboys. I conducted a questionnaire with five questions. An example of a question on this questionnaire is “Is God involved in your life?” They agreed with the questions. In this way, I was able to share the Gospel. They listened to me and another missionary with a lot of attention. The same day, I met a young woman with a child, who at first, refused to receive the books that I was offering to her. Instead of being discouraged, I continued to talk with her. Slowly, she started to think and tell us  that in fact, she loves God. She received the books and we departed one another peacefully.

I also met with Mr. Petru. This man and his wife receive the Word in their lives. We can always rejoice together in the Lord. He has been attending a Bible study group with a Hope Church missionary, as well as attends the church weekly. Even though he doesn’t have legs, his face always radiates joy. It was a great joy to meet up with them once again to talk about the Gospel.

Prayer Requests:

• Please pray that God would continue to give me courage in the ministry.
• Please pray that we as followers of Christ would not be embarrassed to share about Christ.
• Please pray for us that we would be an encouragement for those who are surrounding us.
