A small gesture made out of love for those in need or trouble means a blessing!
One thought I had this week was from the Gospel of Matthew. The evangelist tells us that the Lord Jesus walked from village to village and preached the gospel in places where there was spiritual darkness. Why? Was Jerusalem indeed saturated with religion? Obviously, this can only be a hypothesis. What the evangelist Matthew relates is this: Jesus went to places where the Word of God was not present. These days I was in a serving campaign. I looked for people (I met shepherds, poor children, widows, sick people) who are in trouble and to whom I’ve told the gospel and provided with food.
I am very happy because I am part of God’s family and because my brothers and sisters support me so that I can bless the others!
