Hope for Africa

Mary Kemboi

My name is Mrs. Mary Jemutai Kemboi, and I am from Kenya. I am a student at Africa International University, where I am studying for a Diploma in Theology. I am saved, and Jesus is my personal Savior.

I serve in the Anglican Church as a lay reader, assisting the priest, teaching Sunday school, and coordinating the youth ministry. I have been serving for more than 30 years. Apart from church ministry, I also work as a community health promoter, focusing especially on the health of children and women. As I visit people in my village, I also use these opportunities to preach the Gospel of God.

It has been a great opportunity for me to come to Craiova through the Erasmus program and to fellowship with Hope Church under Pastor Raul Costea. Since coming to this church, I have been spiritually blessed and warmly welcomed.

Through the discipleship teaching at Hope Church, my life has been transformed. I have learned how to understand the Bible more faithfully and how to grow as a disciple of Christ. This teaching has strengthened my relationship with God and equipped me to understand and share the Gospel more clearly.

When I return to Kenya, my prayer is to share what I have learned with my church members and others around me. I desire to help others become true disciples of God, rooted in His Word and faithful to Him.
