He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)
The E2E program (’’Equipped to equipe’’) is a christian equipping program who aims to help those who want to get involved in the Lord’s ministry or who are already servants in His field. Within the help of this program, at the end of these 6 months equiping program, the participating students will be able to answer the following questions: Do I have the call to be a missionary? Do I want to be a missionay on a short term or a long term mission? Do I want to be a part-time missionary or a full-time missionary?
We are grateful and thankful to God for His love, protection, care and all the support offered to us in order to continue and develop this equiping program. So, here we come to the 3rd generation of E2E students, and we believe that God will give us wisdom and strength to continue this program in the future.
We also thank all those who got involved and have contributed to the advancement of this program, through their prayers but also through their financial support.
We thank the teachers for making themselves available to the Lord in order to join this program, to support the students and to guide them in the choices they have to make or in a better understanding of God’s will with look at their life and the work God called them to.
Both the knowledge that will be obtained at the end of this program, as well as their implementation, will help the students to answer the above questions, so that they will be able to make a decision regarding their ministry in the mission field.
The E2E program started this year in September and recently ended its second session. There are seven students registered with tthis program and all come from different backgrounds and have different testimonies regarding their choice to participate in this equipping program, but what unites them is the love for people, especially their desire to share the Gospel with the purpose of bringing them to salvation.
In this two sessions, friendships were formed, theoretical knowledge was combined and the direction of this equipping program was drawn up to clarify from the beggining the purpose persued by E2E.
Following are some impressions of the students during the two equipping sessions of the E2E program.
These two session I attended some edifying courses – the most interesting being the Expository Preaching course – which helped me in reorganizing the study of Scripture; I was amazed that when you want to get a message out of a text you can do it even if at first you think it would be impossible.
Attending these courses seemed useful to me, it helped me enrich my knowledge bank, it built me up seeing that are still people who want to do something for God. It is an encouragament to me. I really appreciate the people that I met, the way of living their life, the fact that they are sincere, real and they recognize their mistakes. Specifically, the Partneship course surprised me and the Expository Preaching helped me to understand how a message can be better and more concise.
I think I’ve learned and I hope to practice more this unity in diversity. Nothing is desirable, each one is unique and valuable. I liked every situation I got into, because you can learn from anything and you can add to your knowledge. E2E represents my brothers’ ministry: they have the vision and I am very surprised to see that the things that happen are going in a good direction.
Taking these courses, some aspects related to the missionary life were brought to my attention and it helped me understand the importance of a systematic Bible study.
These two sessions I have digged into the Word of God, I have laid the foundation of a proper understanding of what it means to be a missionary and what involves this kind of ministry. I understood that you cannot do mission by yourself and besides God you still need people and some financial/material support. I believe these sessions helped me to grow, spiritally speaking, to understand better my position in the ministr/ church and to sketch as accurately as possible the protrait of a serving leader.
Also, I had the joy to plant the seed of Truth and to be part of its sprouting. I thank the Lotrd and give Him praises for listening my prayers and I am hoping that this seed will grow beairfully and bring forth good fruit.
The deeper I go, the more I realize how little I know amd how superficial I am in many situations when it comes to deepen the Word. I realize that when I gave up to go to Polamd through Erasmus Mobility program in exchange for the E2E program, I made the best decision.
The time spent during the E2E courses helped me a lot, besides the care of the teachers I also received good, useful and healthy teachings. I’ve leaned that I don’t have to judge the heart’s motivation. Also, another thing that I’ve learned was that Jesus was a servant leader even when the disciples where thinking only of them, and this fact really improved the way of seeing things, how to work more spiritualy and professionally. I would have more to tell about what i did not mention and how the thruths heard helped me enormously, but I prefer to remain laconic. 😊
