Equipped to Equip
Our E2E (Equipped to equip) program trains students to become missionaries or equips current missionaries during a 6-month time frame. In our 6th generation we currently have 5 in-person and 7 online students.
Church Plant Craiova
The Southern part of Romania is considered an unreached people group, with many people still needing to hear the Gospel. Recently our church plant in Craiova has grown with several new people attending church regularly. We just finished a sermon series on the parables of Jesus, which was encouraging because many attendees are not yet believers yet returned weekly.
Youth Group
Even though we have had youth camps before, this past camp had such an impact on the youth that most of them have now started a journey with God. They have been faithfully coming to our weekly Bible studies and youth events and some are getting baptized next month.
Missionary Meeting
After 2 years of monthly zoom meetings, We had the first in person meeting with our Hope Church missionaries and missionary partners. Getting to be together in the same building again for equipping and fellowship was very encouraging to all.
Ukrainian Ministry
Even though the war in Ukraine was less talked about and we had fewer donations after the first few months, we decided that we would continue to be faithful and help the Ukrainians however we can. Recently, one of our partners from Ukraine, Pastor Andrei, came to visit and encourage our team. We continue to send convoys to Ukraine and help refugees in transit to Western Europe. For our long-term refugees we recently hosted a Ukrainian Thanksgiving celebration, a Ukrainian worship night, and a women’s event to encourage them.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for our E2E students to truly benefit from our program and that it would help them in their ministry.
- Please pray that God would continue to work in the hearts of those attending our church services and that they would come to accept Christ into their lives.
- Please pray for our growing youth group for God to reveal Himself to them weekly during our meetings and that they would grow in their desire to seek God and know Him.
- Please pray for all of our missionaries, for their families and for more people and partners to come alongside them to help and support them.
- Please continue to pray for peace and the war in Ukraine to end.
