Miriam’s story started yesterday with a dream that Ana had. In her dream, God told her that “I am sending you.” She asked me what I thought the dream meant. I explained to her the difference between a call and being sent. A call is for life. Being sent is for a specific task. Right after our conversation, we went out of the office and a lady was there. Ana was wanting to go home, but I sent her to go talk to that lady, Miriam.
Miriam is not a usual Iraqi name. She is muslim and a student from Iraq getting her masters degree here in Craiova. She told us that her father had a dream and God told him in his dream that he should name his daughter Miriam and he did. Ana spent 2 hours with her and taught her some Romanian and through that she was able to share about Jesus or ‘Isa’ in Arabic. Miriam mentioned that she doesn’t know about Jesus. She knows about Allah. Ana was able to share the Gospel and tell her that Isa is the only way to salvation.
Miriam was very open and they are got together again today. When Miriam saw me today, she pointed to me and Ana and said that we are her family here in Romania. It’s even possible that Ana will go meet with a group of classmates that are all Muslims.
Please pray that God will give us the chance to present the Gospel to many Muslims here in Craiova. We want God to open many doors.
