Jesus called the little children to Him and said, “Let the children come to Me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” – Luke 18:16
Children are the Lord’s blessing for families, and in this regard, I want to tell you that the Lord is working wonderfully in their lives!
Even though they come from different families, some in difficult situations, others less so, when you meet them and see how they embrace you and ask, “When will we meet again? When will we play again? When will we hear more Bible stories?” — it is such a joy!
It is a blessing to be able to speak of the love of Christ and how much He loves and values children!
By His grace, we are grateful that every Saturday we have a program with the children, and about 10, 15, or even 20 kids come when we gather in the church building.
What’s wonderful is that it is only God who has made this possible because we decided by faith to trust that the children would come to this location. Usually, when they were invited, only 5 or 6 children would come. Glory to the Lord for this victory!
During the summer, we hold evangelistic events on the large football field in the town, but when the weather turned bad, we had nowhere to meet.
Now we are thankful and give thanks to the Lord for the church building, which helps us so much to host the program indoors.
We have shared Bible stories about David and Goliath, Jonah, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Noah, Adam and Eve and their sin, the Ten Commandments, and the miracles of Scripture: the multiplication of fish, the healing of Peter’s mother-in-law, Jairus’s daughter, the miraculous catch of fish, and the healing of a centurion’s servant!
The children are very receptive, eager to listen, learn Bible verses, and sing songs that praise the Lord!
We are also quickly approaching the celebration of the Lord’s birth, and we pray that the Lord helps us continue telling the children about His love for them and the wonderful hope we have in Him!
We thank you for your unceasing prayers for us and the work in Daneasa. We urge you to continue praying for:
- These children, that they may be transformed by the Word they hear from Scripture and that it may bear fruit in their lives and the lives of their families,
- Pray for us as a family, that we may be strengthened by the Lord, continuing His work with faithfulness and power,
- Financial support for the things we need for each program and event.
Thank you, and may the Lord Jesus bless you!
