Dear brothers and sisters,
Blessings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! The Lord blesses us through you. We want you know that we feel your prayers. Our Lord is good and cares for us! Recently weâve been through many trials. Our children have been sick with fever, abdominal pain, but we saw the Lordâs hand over it all. We were stressed and exhausted but thank God the children have recovered and are better now. Psalm 20: 1-2 says God listens in trouble and answers. His glory for that!
Sister Vali about whom weâve written in previous letters has gone to the Lord. She left behind her husband and four children. We pray that the Lord blesses them and comforts them to overcome this great pain! I continue meeting with Costel, helping him learn to write and read as well as study the Bible with him, I am glad for him that he wants to know the Lord! We continued to be close to George and Florina,to be in fellowship with them and to know Jesus more closely! We see changes in them in speech, attitude and patience.
God is working in young people, too. I (Daniel) meet regularly with 4-5 boys for Bible study, and I enjoy the fellowship with them. They have much to change in rebellious behavior, but with love and patience I have hope that they will know the love of God. They come from underprivileged families with big problems like beatings and drinking. It is an encouragement to see that they want a new life with Christ compared to the one they have lived thus far.
Mariana, of whom I have spoken before, works with girls. Together they have Bible study where they show a desire to know Christ. They also help with certain evangelism projects.
We are going distribute seeds for the garden with a little card called “Good Seed.” We want to reach the hearts of people with these seed packet, and these girls helped pack these seeds. What a joy to see them wanting to serve and share with others the love of Christ!
My wife participated in a Christian event for women at a nearby church. Twelve women came with her, and were encouraged by the word of Scripture. They also expressed their desire to be invited again for meetings like this in the future. Praise the Lord!
Again, may the Lord bless you. We pray for you, too. Thank you for your prayers and for being with us in this work of God.
