In the measure of my strong hope and belief that in nothing will I be put to shame, but that without fear, as at all times, so now will Christ have glory in my body, by life or by death. For to me life is Christ and death is profit. – Philippians 1:20-21
We had the privilege of serving God with tremendous joy and determination during this pandemic, but we have also experienced difficult situations when we were sad and even discouraged.
We were able to gather with the members of the Daneasa church every Sunday, even though some families of the ones who continued coming and listening to the Word of God, faced challenges. We have organized gatherings with the women every Thursday when we read and studied the Bible (Women of the Bible study). Now, I want to encourage you to continue praying for them-there are 7-8 women (Maria, Florina, Oana, Adriana, Geanina, Florica, Georgica, Ioana). They attend church regularly. May God move their hearts to receive Him as their Lord.
This month we were able to give presents to children but also for the women who attended our gatherings and both the children and the women felt a lot of joy during the holiday season. We praise the Lord because this year He provided for us and all the children got a present and a christian booklet.
Sadly we want to inform you that in December 4 men died, one of them being the husband of our sister Mary from the church. He died without having received Christ. We have constantly visited these people and they heard the Gospel but they didn’t decide for Christ.
It’s sad to see so many hurting and desperate families. Even so, we told them there is always hope in Christ!
We as a family faced a lot of difficult situations but we have this hope in Christ that all problems will be solved according to His will. We are thankful for your prayers and also for the blessings and provision He has poured on us.
Be blessed, all of our sisters and brothers in Christ, and we wish you a better year, a new year with lots of blessings and new strength to serve our king, Jesus Christ!
