With God’s help we as His servants are present among the people from Corabia:
In tragic events
Lately, we, as a family, have learned that we are in Corabia ,as witnesses who say what they know and to see, but people have a responsibility to weigh and decide whether to believe or ignore. Cornelia talked to one of her friends and talked about what happens with the believer after death and what happens with the unbeliever. That friend said, “You know I’m not with religion, we can talk over at a coffee time but I’m not with God.” Some time ago, Cornelia and I were having coffee together in our town, it was our day off. And Cornelia received a phone call, her face showed sadness at the news. That friend who had heard so many times the good news of reconciliation with God through Christ had died, but she did not accept it. The pain was heartbreaking.
Through holiday events
Together with our small group of believers, we gathered to thank God for the fruits He has given us this year. The biblical passage that was exposed on this occasion was Psalm 65, where we find the exhortation to praise God because he hears our prayers and because He gives the abundance of the earth. Our prayer was that many in the city would join us in this celebration of thanksgiving. In this regard, I have invited many people from Corabia. They replied that they would come to this celebration. But that Sunday it was just us, the small group of believers.
Through Christian messages on the city’s Facebook page
In these pandemic days, our small town is almost empty. You walkon the the streets and there are few you meet. Those who go out have a specific purpose, and it’s hard to strike up a conversation with them. Under these conditions, a thought took shape. To post the gospel message on social platforms where most people are from Corabia. So, some time ago, I started posting on the “Corabia’s of the 21st Century” page. Pray that this project will result in the return of many people to Christ.
By helping the poor’s
We are thankful to God because a few years ago we entered into a partnership with the organization “Children’s Hunger Fund” through the Church of Slatina. Through this project, we managed to help 5 families this year. One family has 4 children up to 12 years old and they live in difficult conditions. 3 weeks ago, when we went to give the food boxes, we managed to talk to the children’s father for the first time and presented the Bible message directly. Join us in prayer for this family, Baieram, to return to God.
