We, as a family, are gratefull to God for being with our children, and they are growing up in certain aspects of their relationship with God. And God helps us to remain faithful to the ministry that God gave us by the Church of Drăgănești Olt.
Our focus in this critical time in which we live is to invite as many people from the town as possible to our worship meetings before God. I did this in two ways: by giving them christian literature with written invitations to our meetings and by serving them by preaching the gospel.
The seed sown
Corabia being a city with a few blocks and several houses we had two different projects:
1. For the area where there are only houses, we shared a calendar, called Good Seed, along with vegetable seeds and flowers, along with the invitation to church. In this action, we as a family were also helped by brother Michael Jordan, who is a member of the O.M. Christian Foundation. Talking to people on the streets, I noticed their lack of interest. Many times they listened to what I had to say and had no reaction. Pray that all who have received the calendar and the invitation will respond, return to God, and come to the meetings of our group of believers.
2. For the area where there are blocks, we put a New Testament and an invitation for each apartment in their mailbox. I also had a little encouragement in this activity. While we were putting the Testaments in a block of flats, the postman came in, and we heard him ask another person for permission to take a New Testament. Join us in asking God for the people who received these Testaments to be saved and added to the number of disciples on this town.
Serving the gospel
Thank God for giving our family the ability to serve Him. My wife has the ability to develop many relationships and share the good news of salvation with them.
Last year, in one of the families we visited to preach the gospel, it was a tragedy. Their daughter had a car accident in which she broke her spine, with surgery now the girl is walking on her feets. During this time, we prayed and continued to visit this family. A few days ago, Cornelia met her friend and the girl who had the accident. Although, until now, it seemed that the girl was reacting well to the trauma, now she was going to a psychologist. She thinks she’s not normal and she’s going to die. Cornelia again told them that their return to God was their only hope in this situation, but they had no answer. Pray for this family to return to God, and in our visits to them, to have the wisdom to approach this situation from a biblical perspective.
