We tried to tear down the wall between the community of Corabia and the Lord Jesus Christ, serving the children and those who were worried about their health.
My wish and my wife also, Cornelia, is to see as many children from Corabia as possible reading and understanding. To see this dream of ours come true. The children have to go to school. But we don’t just have desires, it’s really an involvement in their lives. And with us are many Christians who feel the same way.
This year, 20 children were helped through the activities of the Speranta project for students. Backpacks and school supplies were provided, and for some of them we bought clothes.
Our joy is that, through our involvement in the lives of these children, we can put another brick in changing the mentality of people from Corabia, towards us, the “repentants”, as they call us. When children grow up, other people, either neighbors or friends, would say bad things about us and they will be able to say, “It’s not like that, because we know them.” They will also be able to read the Bible so that they can return to the Lord.
I have often wondered how I can tell people in a way that they are open and listening. People are open when they feel served. These days, when people are concerned about their health, the Lord has opened an opportunity to donate 1,500 medical masks. Cornelia, managed in time, to create a close connection with the employees of “Profi” stores and in the past few days donated 500 masks for them. Several hundred masks were also donated to the high school in the city center. By talking about the Lord Jesus and serving people in this specific way, we are influencing the community.
Another activity that took place over a period of 4 weeks, was to go out on the street and pray while walking on streets from Corabia. While I was praying, I saw people in need and I was helping them by telling them about the Lord Jesus.
Prayer Pequests:
- Childrenâs parents who are supported by the project Hope for students, to reach the forgiveness of sins through the Lord Jesus.
- Pray that all who have been invited to the Church come and also to have salvation.
