Cornel Borz, originally from Turda, began his spiritual journey in 2011 when he chose to follow Jesus and expressed his commitment through baptism. He was actively involved in the church, serving on the worship team and offering prayer encouragement. However, Cornel felt an inner calling to contribute more deeply to the work of God’s Kingdom.

In 2016, this calling became clear, and in 2020, he decided to attend a Discipleship and Mission School organized by Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Mediaș. After completing the five-month program in 2021, Cornel was led to serve in Craiova with YWAM, where he served for three years. During this time, he met Anca, who became his wife in 2022.

Currently, Cornel serves at Hope Church in Craiova, being involved in evangelism, discipleship, and social outreach activities, including transporting food from the food bank to those in need. He also assists with translation for short-term mission teams, is part of the worship team, playing the piano, and is a member of the church leadership team.
