Greetings from Comani, dear brothers and sisters
In this difficult time two verses came to my mind that reflects our heart as a family: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose” – Romans 8:28. And a second verse: ” My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” – Psalm 73:26
In the midst of this coronavirus, which encompasses the entire world, we choose to focus on looking further to the face of God. How we can carry the hope of Christ to people in these times? How can we show the love of Christ through serving, and at the same time responsible to and respecting the laws given by authorities?
People are urged to stay at home, only going out if they have a need. There are old people who cannot get about and they are hungry. There are families where the wife takes care of the husband immobilized in bed. There are elderly people who have heart conditions and are afraid of this virus. We are looking for people to help them. We buy food for them and we put it in front of their door. Then from the car we call that person to pick up their package. When we see them in front of their doors without hope and with tears in their eyes, our heart is broken. God have mercy on them and give light to understand the Gospel.
The last event we had, before starting this madness of the coronavirus, was March 8 when we celebrated Mother’s Day. Together with a group of sisters from Cluj and Sebes (northern cities of Romania) we organized a meeting where we shared the Gospel with about 30 women. Pray for these women that their hearts may be touched by the Spirit of God, and in the present situation God will use it for their salvation.
Prayer requests:
- God give us wisdom in ministry
- The protection of my family
- May God have mercy on Romania
- People to start looking for the face of God in these times
We thank and appreciate your prayers, and we want you to know that you are in our prayers.
