God is with you in the midst of suffering

Protect me, O God, for I have taken shelter in you.I say to the LORD, “You are the Lord,my only source of well-being.” – Psalm 16.1-2

Peace be with you and may our Lord Jesus Christ give you many blessings and health. We would like to tell you about three women we visited more often recently and we got involved into their lives by encouraging them with the fact that they have a big, strong, loving and forgiving Saviour.

We want to tell you about a very dear woman and her family. She attends regularly our church meetings and the women’s meetings and she is always encouraged because she gets a lot of peace and joy when she listens to God’s word. She is a mother of five, one of the them being a believer, Mariana the very first christian from here in Daneasa!
Mariana is part of the planting team here in Daneasa and she helps the ministry and we are thankful that she is being used both in her family and here.

Mariana’s mother, Florica, got sick and had to be taken to the hospital several times in a short period of time. After many investigations, she was diagnosed with a small brain tumor and she was sent to Bucharest for surgery.
She was operated and at present she is recovering. She is fine but she still hasn’t found out whether the tumor is benign or malign. She is happy to see us as a church beside her and we pray that God may heal her.
But above all we pray that God may give her eyes to see her sinfulness and receive Christ in her heart. So we keep on praying for the salvation of her soul and for her health. She became more open at our meetings and she even began praying. We are happy to see how God shapes her heart. We pray that God strengthen her and her family, to bless them with peace and love and that salvation may come in her family and thus all be saved.

We have also visited Mrs. Ioana who herself is going through a tough time because her son had passed away. Ever since she has been depressed and doesn’t take care of herself anymore. She has problems with her kidneys, her stomach and she also experienced a stroke some time ago and it can repeat itself. We went to encorouge her, to talk to her, read the Bible for her and pray for her. At present, she is still in the hospital and may God search her heart and give her His salvation and give her health.

Another dear woman to us whom we visit is our neighbour, Maria. We visited her, we shared the gospel with her, told her about God’s love and encouraged her to put her trust in Him.
She has serious health issues – she has cirrhosis. We told her about faith in Jesus Christ and in the midst of all the suffering she called upon the Lord to take away the pain but He didn’t and that’s when I told her that God carried her in his arms in those moments and that God is right beside those who call upon his name. She was encouraged together with her husband and they have asked us to go to their home every evening to read them the Scripture.
May our great and strong Lord and Saviour give them His peace and His salvation.

• Pray for the salvation if these three souls and may God be their joy and peace.
• Pray for their health. May God touch their bodies and may they see His hand.
• Pray for us to be a light for them, and encouragement and may God give us power to do His will.
