There are so many times when we think about we are missing and we forget the essential, namely that God is the One that provides.
The verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:18 teach us the following: “…in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
So that means we should not worry about our food, our clothes because the One that provides in everything is our Holy, true and Living God.
We want to give thanks to the Lord for all things but above all for the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ who died so that we can be forgiven, freed from the sin’s bondage and gave us His salvation as a gift, a gift that we never deserved. Yet He loved us so much that He was ready to pay for us by His Son’s death.
We are to be thankful for countless things and He deserves eternally all the glory, praise and honor.
Ee gathered to give thanks to the Lord for the harvest He has given to us, for His written Word and for everything that He did, does and will do for each of us, may His name be praised!
Prayer requests:
- To be thankful and not grumble about things.
- To bring honor and praise to our God for He deserves this no matter the time, trial, the sickness or the blessing.
- To help us to have a greatful heart according to His will so that people may know Christ through our lives.
Psalm 121:1-2:
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from Yahweh,
Who made heaven and earth.
