Twenty years ago, God placed a burden for Africa on Raul’s heart as he prayed for the people of that continent. In 2026, God began to bring that vision to life by bringing African students to Craiova through a university program. During their time here, Raul taught them about biblical discipleship and how to understand Scripture in context. As they learned, they expressed a desire to take this teaching back to Africa. That is how Hope for Africa began.

The vision of this ministry is to disciple believers in Africa according to the model of Jesus through sound Bible teaching and one-on-one discipleship. Through this project, biblical teaching from books of the Bible will be translated into Swahili, filmed, edited, and posted online so that it can be used as a resource for preaching and one-on-one discipleship.
